These are some photos of the Echidna that was nosing through our yard last night. Apparently, they are ant eaters. I did not see him today, so I am hoping he has moved on greener pastures!

Whale Watching
We finally saw our first whale and it was from out of the kitchen window. It was really pretty cool. There are two of them in the pictures. They were jumping out of the water and smacking their tails. Just having a good time, from what I could tell. Hopefully, we will get to see more!
The Pool is Open!
The water was chilly, but we managed to power through it anyway. The kids have been waiting patiently for months to get in the pool. This past weekend the weather was warm enough to heat the pool to 74 degrees so we gave it a try. The kids had a blast and Scarlet even got in! I have a feeling this is going to be a common occurrence this summer.
