Well most of the snow thawed out in time for Easter. I can't believe I just said that.... Anyway, we had a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunter this year. The eggs were fairly easy for Evan to find, being the biggest kid in the neighborhood now, but he still thoroughly enjoyed the hunt. Avery just loved opening the eggs to get to the candy inside! The best part of Easter though, was the arrival of our newest baby, our puppy, Scarlet. She is a red golden retriever, I know that doesn't make any sense, but she is supposed to be dark red and look like the Bush's Baked Bean dog (hence the name Scarlet). So we will see. She is precious and very rambunctious. It is like having another baby with the bathroom breaks in the middle of the night and the constant "No's". She is a great addition to our family since we are not having anymore human babies anytime soon!
