Nothing too exciting going on in our neck of the woods. We have had a "quiet" weekend, i.e. no one getting sick, no work functions, decent weather. I thought I would show you a few pics from our nice, relaxing time. We made Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Chocolate Syrup for the kiddos. I think you can see from the photos, Avery REALLY enjoyed hers. Complete with chocolate on her nose from licking the plate. I think Scarlet wanting in on that too! The last two pictures are from Evan's model of a city built out of kitchen materials. He did this while I wasn't looking and I took the picture after he went outside to play. The teachers at school (before we left Steamboat) also commented on how they believe he is going to be an engineer. He spent his days (while not learning) engaged in building. Building with everything. Building train sets, building with building blocks and legos, and building outside with the giant plastic building blocks. If he is not going to be a lawyer (he is always trying to negotiate better treatment - in his eyes), he will definitely be an engineer!
