So while in Virginia and so close, we decided to go to Booker T. Washington National Monument. For those of you who don't know, Booker lived in Virginia for a while as a slave. After emancipation, he went on to do great things, which include founding the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. I had visited his boyhood home on one of my school trips, but of course no one else had, so we popped in. Once finished, what else is there to do but try out the beer at the new brewery just down the road? Why not?
