Family Fun!

We had a lovely day at the lake with family this past weekend. The humidity finally backed off for the day making things quite enjoyable. Here are some pictures! Then on Monday, Jason packed the kids in the car and headed to Blacksburg to visit with some of his family. Grandma Betty, Robyn, and Steffony were so glad to see the kids and I think they were equally as happy to them!

Touch A Truck

Mom, Evan, Avery and I took a quick trip up to Virginia Tech (where Jason and I graduated from) and I couldn't resist putting a picture or two of that adventure up. The rest of the pictures are from the lake and from an event in Salem, VA called Touch A Truck. All kinds of trucks and heavy equipment from school buses, semi tractor trailers, diggers, cranes and more were there for kids to climb on/in and honk the horns. Evan had a blast and was very upset when we made him leave. Enjoy!

Jaime's Baby Shower

Luckily Baby Connor did not make his debut before Jaime's baby shower. It went off without a hitch except for mom forgetting to put out the chicken salad croissants (that I worked so hard to make)! ;-) Otherwise, it was lovely. Jaime got lots of great gifts from friends and family. She is pretty much set up for little Connor's arrival!

A Day At The Denver Zoo

For the 4th of July Weekend, Jason took Friday off and the family headed to Denver to visit the Zoo. It was quite warm and steamy but I think everyone had a wonderful time. Evan loved seeing all of the animals and riding the train! Baby Girl wasn't quite as interested but I still think she had a good time. Evan even said he would like to go back and do it again. Maybe sometime soon! Enjoy some of our pictures from the day!
