This is the cake tower we put together. I made Red Velvet Cupcakes and Buttercream Icing from scratch and I think it went over well with Evan. He seemed to enjoy it although I am not sure whether he enjoyed playing with it or eating it. Somehow it ended up in his hair so I think it went over pretty well. Cousins Kristen, Nathan and Jack got Evan the gift of the century. They gave him a fire engine that he can either ride or walk behind. He walked and walked and walked. I had to pry it out of his hands so that he could take a nap. I included a little video for your viewing pleasure. I am sure tomorrow he will be in love with something else.

What a fun party we had for the #1 man on his #1. He sure did enjoy the cupcake but he burned off all the calories walking behind his new fire truck. What energy he has. I'm already looking forwrd to the #2.

Can't believe Evan is 1. Where does the time go? It will quickly slip away. Tell #2 they will have to wait til Dec. 1 so Great Aunt Cindy can share birthdays!!! The whole gang needs a road trip to North Carolina... Hope to see ya'll soon.
